Sweet Sin Bakery
was created in
2005 by a Pastry Chef who was diagnosed with Celiac
disease. The products were designed with one thing in
mind...to give the Celiac community something they could
really sink their teeth into! Gourmet, divine, sticky,
sweet, and some savory tantalizing treats of which one
would never know the wheat or gluten was absent!

Renee
D'Souza
trained in Pastry Arts at the Baltimore International
Culinary College . She has worked as a pastry chef in
various restaurants and hotels in Maryland, Washington
D.C., and Hawaii. Renee worked for over 7 years before
finding out she could not digest wheat. It was upon this
life changing news that Renee and her husband Richard
D'souza decided to venture into the world of gluten free
baking. Unique recipes were created using innovative
ingredients and tested on non-celiacs to ensure a truly
'normal' taste. Celiac clients were blown away and a at
times even brought to tears as they confessed to not
having a birthday cake or slice of bread in years!
In
all of our gluten-free desserts and baked goods
we use only the most natural ingredients, and you can be
assured you are getting the best product that we can
offer you. We are continually developing new menu items
to meet the various needs of our customers. One will
find many Dairy Free, Soy Free and some
Egg Free options. Most of our products are made with only
non-hydrogenated fats, including olive oil and
organic palm oil shortening.
Our Goal
is to create and serve
quality desserts, while following our unique
health-related recipe requirements to the letter without
compromising the outstanding flavor
